The logo I created established the typography for the piece. The bold Helvetica 95 in purple is very powerful and masculine, while the script M in magenta is very warm and feminine. The rest of the text is Minion, which while slightly feminine and delicate in some ways, serves as a neutral balance between the other typefaces.

This brochure had plenty of text. The difficulty was to not let the text look too overwhelming. I used the oval shape of the logo in gradient tints to break up the different sections of text on the inside of the brochure, and echoed it again on the cover. A lot can be done with typography and simple shapes.

The contrasts of bold and delicate type and colors work throughout the brochure, complimenting and tying in with the logo. The net result is a balanced, strong-yet-sensitive piece.
